AIKO (a Japanese expression meaning: child conceived in love)
Our programme for the holistic well-being of the mother and for a physical and mental harmony in the mother – child – father relationship.

A child is born! We have become parents: can we now still think of ourselves only?...
Of course you can!
A pregnancy and the birth of a child involve a number of adjustments. In the first instance, there is an adjustment to new physical and hormonal conditions, but also changes in the emotional and interpersonal area.
This new personal situation based on partnership, together with the additional task of looking after the baby, often make it difficult to see the experience of being a mother in an exclusively positive light. Often mothers have the feeling that they have too little time to look after their partner or their own well-being.
Our AIKO therapy package aims at restoring the general well-being of mothers (best between 2 and 7 months after the birth) and supporting them physically and mentally in their new role. Our programme, however, also includes specific therapies for the baby; others together with the father; or also with other brothers and sisters. Young mothers will definitely succeed in establishing a new bond with baby, partner and any other children all within a relaxed ambience and after a positive health experience.

Our programme
provides for individually coordinated cosmetics and health therapies, individual or together with your partner and child. In addition, there are discussion sessions on the subject of parenthood and bringing up your child, always in the relaxed, informal atmosphere of our wellness centre inside our excellent family hotel.
For mothers:
Our programme begins with an aesthetic and health examination followed by deportment and strengthening exercises for pelvis and spinal column, water aerobics and other strengthening exercises for perineum and abdomen, body exfoliation, algae packs for dehydration, bio-energetic massages and facial treatments.
For your child:
Water aerobics, baby massages and stimulation of senses
For couples:
Deportment exercises, water aerobics, partner massage and the unforgettable ‘Rose Essence of Heaven’, meetings to discuss nutrition, upbringing, health, vaccination and other topics.
 
 
Our Team:
The team that looks after you consists of doctors, midwives, beauticians and physiotherapists, all highly qualified. They will take care of you and treat you with a great deal of expertise and will do their best to resolve successfully all your problems after childbirth. Some of these experts guarantee to look after you round the clock.  
Our programme was put together by Prof. Angelo Morese (professor of the degree course for midwives at the Cattolica University in Rome – Bolzano section – and the University of Udine, in addition to being an expert in questions of aesthetics during and after pregnancy) with the collaboration of Mrs Lisa Furlanetto (manageress and expert of Theresia’s Beauty & Spa centre in the Cavallino Bianco family spa Grand Hotel****S).

When
The AIKO special weeks with a detailed programme for mothers after childbirth always begin on the second Saturday of the month and finish on Friday of that week at 6pm.

The total package per family costs €1,160 *.
*Registration has to be completed one month before. If the minimum of four participating families is not reached, participation will be postponed to the following date. The programme is held in Italian and German language.
